Major Updates coming May 2013

Very excited to announce we are doing a major update/overhaul to Maxuino later this month at CMU’s Studio for Creative Inquiry!! Any bugs or feature requests should be added here or emailed to us asap. We are devoting a full week to adding great new features and creating a much better set of learning tools.     You can check out the progress via the v16 update – we are super excited at the new implementations, but they arent show ready yet.

    Nanocannon, we did some poking around and it turns out to be fairly easy to convert a typical java library for any given i2c device into .js which you can then put into your patch, giving you easier control of i2c devices. I say this because we cannot possibly write i2c converters for all the great devices out there, but to plan to have examples and perhaps even instructions for such conversions.

    Mantaraffu, yes it does work, but please note you will need to use the ConfigurableFirmata, not standard firmata nor our old stepper firmata.

    I really can’t find a ConfigurableFirmata version that works on my arduino uno. under osx.
